Bag Drop Off

Fill The Bag

Bag Pick Up 

Donate!

  • We get permission from the city or neighborhood organization to run a food drive and drop off bags

  • We will deliver grocery bags to the doorstep of each house in the neighborhood.

  • There will be a flyer on the bag with information about FEED MN, some recommended donation items, and a reminder of the pick up date.

  • We request that sometime within the outlined three weeks, participants fill the bag with non-perishable food. 

  • On our suggested donations page, you will find some food items that are most beneficial for those in need.

  • On the pick up date, we ask that you have the (hopefully full) grocery bag on the doorstep once again.

  • FEED MN will pick up each household's bag. 

Important! 

All food donations must list ingredients and be sealed in their original packaging in order for food shelves to accept. Donations must also not be expired.

Original feedmn Process:​

  • Fist we build the 4x3ft model, weatherproof, house capable of storing food. For info on the FeedMN house, click here. 

  • Then, we bring this "house" to various locations for two week periods, with permission.

  • Once posted outside of a selected location, a member of FEED MN will provide flyers and posters to the community to inform them on the purpose and mission of FEED MN.

    • Check out our current location here.

  • During these two weeks, anyone can drop canned/boxed food off in the FEED MN model house.

  • The food in the "house" will be taken out and delivered directly to a chosen food shelf as needed (whenever the model house is close to full).

​

  • After the two weeks are up, we move the model house and food drive to a new location.
